SDPMart Sambar Mix Without Dal is a convenient and flavorful spice blend, perfect for making authentic sambar. Designed for 2 liters of sambar, this mix combines a rich array of spices that deliver a deliciously tangy and aromatic taste. It’s the ideal solution for quickly preparing a traditional, mouthwatering sambar, whether enjoyed with rice, dosa, or idly. Just add dhal your preferred vegetables, and you’re all set for a delightful meal with sambar.
Cooking Instructions:
Wash 1LB of Mixed Vegetables (Carrot, beans, Egg plant, Drumstick) or Radish. Pressure cook 120g of dal in 600ml of water. Add 150ml of hot water to the ready to cook sambar mix and make a paste. Heat 70ml of cooking oil in a pan, add the mix and stir it well. Let this mixture cook until the oil separates from the mix. Add 1LB of Mixed Vegetables and boiled dhal water to cook the vegetables as required. Now add boiled dhal and more water as needed to get the desired consistency. In a small pan heat 1 tablespoon of ghee and sauté jeera, red chili, curry leaves, coriander leaves and garnish the sambar.
